Our design studio Directors bring over 30 years of combined industry experience in leading residential design to each project. Amy Ellis (BDesArch) | Design Director
Amy is a Registered Architect with over 16 years’ experience in high end residential design in London and Sydney. Her career started at world-renowned architects Skidmore Owings and Merril (SOM) in London. Before launching Ellis Studio, Amy worked as an Associate at leading Australian practice Bates Smart. Here she led the design and delivery of large scale residential buildings in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Ellis Studio was founded from Amy’s passion for contemporary and timeless residential design that responds to the lifestyles of the building’s occupants. Amy is passionate about creating bright and airy spaces that are designed for living and enhance the lives of her clients.
Amy’s technical skills and extensive knowledge of statutory requirements combine with her love of good design to result in well coordinated and beautiful project outcomes.
Kane Ellis (DipStructEng) | Technical Director
Kane has over 17 years’ experience working as a Senior Technician for a renowned international engineering firm. Kane has worked on significant award winning projects throughout Australia, the UK, Asia and the Middle East and brings his vast experience and passion for residential design and detailing to Ellis Studio. Kane leads the technical team, bringing Ellis Studio’s ideas to life through 3D modelling and project detailing. Kane’s experience ensures that our projects and systems are up to date with the latest 3D technologies, enabling us to deliver our projects efficiently, on time, and with the latest visual communication techniques.
