Amy is an outstanding architect. After meeting with several architects for our renovation and new build extension, Amy was the clear winner.
The first time we met with Amy she immediately understood what we needed from our new home (more than we did ourselves). She was able to perfectly blend the logistical needs of a growing family and budget constraints with an elevated design – in fact, she was able to capture everything on our wish list!
Additionally, her deep knowledge of council and planning regulations was second to none and made the somewhat stressful application process less overwhelming knowing we could go to Amy for any queries or concerns. She acted on our behalf to help push the application through council when we were lost in the process.
Amy was transparent on her pricing, and a great communicator keeping us up to date with any information as it came to hand. She even assisted with the building tender process and ended up finding our chosen builder. During the build Amy was always available to assist with any enquiries and was very generous with her time (even meeting with me at a tile shop to help with the daunting selection process.)
You can tell that Amy genuinely cares about the end result and we will be forever grateful that we had her on our team.

From our first meeting with Amy on site, she nailed it! She listened to our hopes and dreams and could see our vision. Second meeting, Amy had preliminary drawings that were exactly what we had discussed, down to every room, she listened.
Whenever we suggested finishes that we liked, Amy was familiar with the products and the cost of each option, and how it would be constructed, and suggested similar products at a more affordable price. Nothing is ever a problem for Amy.
Ellis Studios have a great team of professionals including her husband Kane, also very experienced, that all work together and are familiar with her style to make a dream home come true from start to final approval. We highly recommend Ellis Studio and wouldn’t go anywhere else, and we’ve worked with several architects on several homes.

We highly recommend using Ellis Studio!!! The designs and finishes Amy came up with turned out amazing.
Throughout the whole project end to end she and her team were very hands on and went above and beyond. She even managed to find us a source for floorboards when everywhere was sold out and our builder and us had given up.

She carefully guided us through several great design options on our tiny block of land to ensure that we could obtain a smooth and quick Complying Development approval on an inner city site. She got our brief spot on from the first concepts and we’re thrilled with the result.

We’d 100% recommend using Ellis Studio. After cutting our losses with another designer, Amy took on our project and handled our difficult bushfire, flood and sewer affected project with ease.
She has so much knowledge in these areas, and excellent consultants who she knew to ask the right questions and when
– and explained everything to us. It was a contrast to our previous architect, who had so much less progress in a much longer timeframe – Amy’s team always delivered when she said they would, and listened. We’re very happy with the designs

We engaged Ellis Studios to help us with designing a detached dual occupancy, for our family home and an investment home. Amy did an amazing job and thanks to her, decisions were made easy, our build went smoothly and we are impressed with our beautiful bespoke designs.
Amy is professional, knowledgeable, organised and committed to every aspect of the projects that she works on. Amy gave us support, advice and acted as our advocate throughout the entire build process. Amy was able to problem solve and negotiate with our builder and engineers and created more efficient ways to design and build, saving us thousands of dollars on several occasions.
We highly recommend Amy, and would not consider doing any other building or renovating without engaging with her again. Amy's fees were easily paid off through her cost saving strategies and experience, and the property value add of her designs. The materials and design elements that she offered us were nothing short of spectacular, and we have no regrets about either of our build designs.
